Air Canada has announced the launch of a brand-new non-stop route connecting Santiago de Chile (SCL) with Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL), marking a significant expansion of air connectivity between Chile and Canada. The service is scheduled to begin in mid-December 2025 and will operate on a seasonal basis through late February 2026, coinciding with the peak summer travel season in the Southern Hemisphere.
A New Route — Independent from Santiago–Toronto Flights
It is important to note that this new Santiago–Montreal route is completely independent of Air Canada’s existing flights between Santiago and Toronto. The airline will continue operating its Santiago–Toronto (YYZ) service separately, meaning travelers will now have two distinct Canadian gateways available when flying non-stop from Chile with Air Canada.
With the addition of Montreal, Air Canada strengthens its presence in South America and offers passengers greater flexibility when traveling to Canada or connecting onward to other destinations.
